One Night, One Tale - Brass Band & Tenor Horn

One Night, One Tale is a solo for horn and brass band. Scheherazade is the narrator of the stories from One Thousand and One Nights . To escape death at the hands of the sultan, who kills all his brides so that they cannot cheat on him, she tells an endless story every night. The sultan is anxious every night to see the end of the story and gives her respite. Thus she remains alive until the sultan is cured of madness. They lived happily ever after.
