Acoustic Sketch is a work for brass band and carillon. The work is built on the overtones of a fundamental tone that leads to a so-called acoustic scale. The idea is that these tones can also be heard in the bell of a carillon. The chords in the band's accompaniment try to mimic this sound.
The work can also be performed with tubular bells and chimes.
